Driver Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

Please read how your earnings and payouts work before you start driving on Along The Way. By accepting these terms you agree to how passenger payments, escrow, your in-app wallet, withdrawals, and payouts are handled on the platform.

1. Escrow on passenger payments

Payments passengers make for your trips are held in escrow by the platform until the trip is completed. Funds are not released to you at the time of booking; they are held securely and only become your earnings once the trip is successfully completed.

2. Earnings go to your in-app wallet

Your net earnings (the fare after the platform commission is deducted) are paid into your in-app driver wallet, not directly to your bank account. Your wallet balance reflects the money available to you on the platform.

3. Bank settlement requires a withdrawal request

To move money from your in-app wallet to your bank account, you must submit a withdrawal request from the app. Settlements are not automatic; you decide when to withdraw your available balance to the settlement account you have linked.

4. Withdrawal timelines

Withdrawal requests are processed and reach your bank within 24–48 working hours. Timelines may occasionally vary due to bank processing or additional checks.

5. Transaction reviews

The platform may review transactions and withdrawal requests before settlement. Reviews help keep the platform safe and ensure funds are released correctly; a request may be held while a review is completed.

6. When earnings appear

Earnings appear in your wallet only after successful trip completion and platform validations. Until a trip is completed and validated, the related funds remain in escrow and are not part of your withdrawable balance.
